She doesn't try to box you into a particular esthetic. Maureen really listened to my vision and then took it to a place that I could never have imagined. There wasn't a single other designer that I interviewed that understood the esthetic of what we were trying to create.
My desire was to create a whimsical English cottage design using traditional fabrics and dō€€ˇsign elements. The esthetic of what I was looking for was fairly unique. As soon as she showed me the first fabric, I knew she completely understood my vision.
Her process was very collaborative. She worked incredibly well with the architect, the builder and with us.
Her attention to 9etail is unmatched. I wanted lots of fabrics with patterns and colors. I still don't know how she did it, but she was able to put together a room that incorporated different patterns, colors, textures and have it all look coherent and pulled together. I think she has an incredible gift for color and design. The spaces that Maureen created in my home are magical.
Most of all, Maureen is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She developed relationships with my whole family and no opinion was too small to consider, even those of my children."
